This hands-on workshop explores the ecology of urban streams through field-based investigation of stream health, aquatic biodiversity, and watershed processes. Participants will learn Surber sampling techniques, identify aquatic invertebrates, explore salmonid life cycles and reproduction, and investigate stream formation, structure, and ecological dynamics.
